Antonia is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, a qualified Business and Executive Coach and has worked in a range of Human Resources roles for the past 25 years.
Immediately before I set up the business I was Deputy Head of HR at Bradford University, managing a large team, working in a unionised environment with responsibility for HR processes, policy, procedure, recruitment and training. I understand the challenges of life as a manager, and I know the importance of getting practical HR advice and guidance to both suit your needs and minimize any risk to the business.
I am well versed in employment law, discipline, grievance, performance problems, sickness absence management, restructures, redundancy, right to work and many other areas - you name it, I’ve seen it!
I have handled restructures and culture change, devised appraisal processes, pay and grading structures including job evaluation, leadership development programmes and I am an experienced recruiter. I have delivered the full range of management training as well as one-to-one and group coaching.
I have worked with a varied set of clients since setting up in 2014, including bars, catering and hospitality, medical, sales, manufacturing, sports, tech, PR and marketing, property, security, not-for-profit and charity. Some HR consultant specialise in certain industries but I believe that the most important thing is to understand the culture and nature of the business and its owners.
